BlindSpot is a guided, face-to-face format. The app handles the timing and the current place to go, so you can spend your attention on the person in front of you.
Before the first round
Your event page is the source of truth for the venue, arrival instructions, accessibility information, price, eligibility, and booking status. After a confirmed booking, the app shows the details you need for the evening. Check in during the stated window and keep the app available; the live view is designed to recover if you refresh or change devices.
The format is intentionally clear. The current round, countdown, and next instruction come from the server so participants and operators share the same state. A brief connection interruption should result in a stale-state notice and recovery path, not a guessed assignment.
During the rounds
Each round gives you a focused conversation and a clear transition. Use the prompt if it helps, skip it if the conversation has its own direction, and respect a request to pause or end. The event format may include breaks, accessibility adjustments, or a different number of rounds; the published event details take precedence over general guidance.
The app does not show another participant’s private preferences or decisions. It also does not promise a fixed number of conversations unless that exact event says it does. Attendance, eligibility constraints, accessibility needs, and venue capacity can affect the live schedule.
After the final round
The decision window is private. You can record whether you would welcome contact according to the event’s configured choices, and you may revise that decision while the window remains open. No one is told that you declined them. A connection is materialized only when the applicable mutual-consent rule is met.
If a connection is created, use the safety controls that remain available after the event. You can block, report, or revoke access according to the product’s current policy. Historical audit facts are retained for safety and financial integrity even when a connection is later revoked.

BlindSpot does not promise a relationship outcome, a guaranteed match, or a universal conversation count. It does not provide security staff or background-check guarantees. It provides a structured setting, private decisions, and clear controls so people can choose what happens next.
